Using the map without signal, how navigation works, and saving places.
Does the map work offline?
Atlas Pass unlocks offline maps. Download the map tiles you want and the map keeps working with no signal, the way it needs to when you are out at a pass with zero bars.
You manage what you have downloaded, and see how much space it takes, in Settings.
How does navigation work?
Navigation hands off to Google Maps for turn-by-turn. On iPhone you can pick which app gets the directions: Google Maps, Apple Maps, or Waze. On Android it opens in Google Maps.
A multi-stop drive you plan in the Drive tab opens in Google Maps too.
Can I save places I like?
Yes. Favorite any location to keep it handy for later.
